Would Adsense Work For A Non Technical Subject Matter Blog?

I want to start a newsblog, I won’t say what it is going to contain exactly at this point :-) but if for example it was a blog about horses, would adsense be a viable way of earning a small income from it, or would the blog have to be on a subject like ipods or mobile phones for adsense to work?

Adsense finds related content to display advertisements, so it does not matter what subject your blog is about.
